What is “Chyawanprash Avleh”?
Chyawanprash Avleh is a classic formula of Chyawanprash prepared using fresh Amla fruits. It features both Cow’s ghee (Clarified butter) as well as Sesame oil (Sesamum indicum) as a medium used to cook Amla which creates a silky smooth base texture. Amount of sugar used in our Chyawanprash while preparation is considerably less. This results and an extremely palatable well balanced flavour profile which ranges from mildly sweet to pleasantly tart with hints of warm spices at the very end. It is prepared using 42 potent Ayurvedic ingredients including Yeshthimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra), Pippali (Piper longum), Sandalwood (Santalum album), Vanshalochan (Bambusa arundinacea) etc. and focuses on alleviating winter-borne illnesses such as cold, cough & fever. Chyawanprash Avleh is perfect for all age groups and during winter months, it imparts enough energy to the body for one to feel energetic throughout the day. Our Chyawanprash is filled in 500 g sealed HDPE jars and is packed in a sturdy outer-box.

Why is fresh Amla better than powdered Amla?
The Vitamin C connection: Amla (Emblica officinalis) contains the highest concentration of Vitamin C of all fruits. Vitamin C content of one Amla fruit is equivalent to that of three oranges. Vitamin C is one of the least stable of all vitamins in solution and is oxidized readily in light, air and when heated. To retain as much Vitamin C as one can, the original formula for Chyawanprash makes it mandatory for formulators to use fresh Amla. Unfortunately, to produce Chyawanprash throughout the year many large batch manufacturing companies resort to using cheaper & less nutritious dried Amla in their formulations. Our Chyawanprash formulas on the other hand are only manufactured from late Autumn to early Spring when fresh Amla is readily available in the market.

How are export-grade Ayurvedic formulations better?
We exclusively deal in export grade Chyawanprash formulations. Exporting Indian products entails exposing the product to greater scrutiny abroad under stringent global standards. This results in manufacturers paying more attention to details which they may otherwise neglect when selling to local markets. Employing higher standards of ingredients inputs, process inspection, laboratory testing and post production quality control results in products which match US/European safety standards and are generally more palatable and safer for consumption and use. Our fresh Amla Chyawanprash formulations are manufactured at ISO9001:2008, ISO22000:2005, HACCP certified manufacturing units. Each and every export batch is examined by the Export Inspection Council of India for non-gmo and food safety standards.

  • Meera says:

I liked it for it’s broad flavor palette. It’s sweet, sour, slightly bitter and mildly spicy – all tastes that you expect from Chyawanprash. Me and my husband loved this product!

  • Anupama says:

I love Unjha’s regular Chyawanprash but it is a bit too spicy for my kids. This variant which they developed for export is very pleasant to taste. Delicious and not very spicy. Highly recommended!

  • Kanchan K. says:

This is so smooth in its texture! So many tastes in one that come so homogeneously. Must try!

  • Vasant Patel says:

You have to try this particular tasty jam to really find out the difference between product made specially for exports and the one available in the market.
